About 2 weeks before I had purchased a new bike (2018 YZ250f-X) Cody and myself were keen to go to Ride Park. After Cody and myself convinced our mate Mick that Bacchus was “only 3hrs away from Mildura” (more like 6 or 7) we crammed into Cody’s space-cab ute and hit the road after work on Friday. Getting into Bacchus late Friday night, we swagged it in the Caravan Park.

We woke up itching to ride and also a little blurry eyed, after having a few quick beers after arriving at camp. Getting breakfast from the trusty Golden Arches. We headed to the track.

Being the first lot of people at the track that morning, for us land animals, who don’t know how to jump, we were able to slowly get accustomed to the track before “everyone” got there.

After I was done for riding, as I hadn’t had the fitness due to not riding at all in 3 years, I went back to the pits and grabbed the camera. At the time of this photograph, Ride Park had a big step up in the middle were the more experienced rider were able to throw their bikes around.

After snapping my photos and everyone was done riding, we headed for the pits, packed up and headed for home.
