About
Andrew Kenny
31 year old photographer based in Mildura (VIC), Australia.
Specialising in motorsport, action sports, and authentic outdoor storytelling.
My journey into photography began at 15 years old at my local motorcycle club. When I couldn’t line up on the gate with my mates, I picked up my mum’s camera instead. One race led to another, and before I knew it, photography became my way of staying connected to the sport and the people around it.
Fast forward more than a decade, and I now have 10+ years of experience photographing motorsport, rodeo, landscapes, local sport, and live events. My work focuses on capturing moments driven by adrenaline, grit, and atmosphere — whether that’s bikes battling through dust, riders mid-air, or quiet moments behind the scenes that tell the bigger story.
What started as a hobby has grown into a small but steadily evolving business. Growing up on a family farm with two older brothers, motorsport and hard work were part of everyday life. A racing incident that left me with a rebuilt shoulder and a scar across my chin eventually shifted my role from competitor to storyteller. These days, I’m best placed behind the lens — working to make athletes, machines, and moments look as powerful as they feel.
Alongside photography, I work in the agricultural industry, which has naturally led me into landscape and farm machinery photography. This balance between action sports and rural environments continues to shape my visual style.
Some of the events and teams I’ve been fortunate to work with include the Hattah Desert Race, AUSX Supercross, the Australian ProMX Championship, the AUS Enduro Championship, and the Victorian Off Road Championship, along with Australian Speedway and rodeo events. This has included working with the Honda Australia MX Team during the ProMX series
Looking ahead, a major goal is photographing the Finke Desert Race. Internationally, the ultimate aspiration is working in the United States, particularly within Supercross, Motocross and Off-road series, documenting the sport at its highest level.
